Funding your studies
While studying at the Leeds International Study Centre for progression to the University of Leeds, you may be eligible to apply for one of our scholarships to help fund your studies. These are for our pathway programmes as well as progression scholarships that are available when you complete your programme.
This partial tuition scholarship helps fund your pathway programme at the Leeds International Study Centre. Students will only be considered for the scholarship if they currently hold an offer for the International Study Centre and are not sponsored by a government, company or organisation. The value may differ depending on region and is offered on a first come, first served basis.

Once you successfully complete your International Foundation Year studies at Leeds International Study Centre and progress to the University of Leeds, there are some subject-related scholarships available to undergraduate students. All of these scholarships require sufficient academic achievement for students to be eligible.
Leeds International Study Centre students progressing to the School of Earth and Environment can be considered for an Undergraduate International Excellence Scholarship of up to 25% fee reduction on the first year of study. Terms and conditions apply.
Students progressing from Leeds International Study Centre may be considered for a Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences Undergraduate International Excellence Scholarship of up to 25% fee reduction on the first year of study. Scholarships will be awarded to high achieving applicants. This is a competitive process and not all applications will be successful. The scholarship will take the form of a one-time tuition fee reduction in the first year of study. Eligible degree courses can be found on the University's website. Terms and conditions apply.
The School of Law offers the Undergraduate International Scholarship. This is awarded to any first-year international students who significantly exceed the entry requirements. The process is automatic, and the award is a fee reduction of £2,500. Terms and conditions apply.
The Faculty of Biological Sciences is offering ten £10,000 International Excellence Scholarships that will be awarded to the highest achieving undergraduate applicants entering their degree in year one. To be eligible for this scholarship students must achieve one grade (or equivalent) above the published grade requirements or higher. Student application required. Terms and conditions apply.
The School of Psychology offer an International Excellence Scholarship. £10,000 is automatically awarded to high achieving applicants. Terms and conditions apply.
The University of Leeds offer the above scholarships for UK/EU and international undergraduate students starting their undergraduate studies in September 2025. All of these scholarships have academic achievement as a key awarding criterion for eligibility.
